Directed by Kevin Asch, HOLY ROLLERS uses the incredible story of Hasidic Jews smuggling ecstasy in the late ’90s as a backdrop to examine the difference between faith and “blind” faith. Sam Gold (Jesse Eisenberg), an insulated Hasid on the cusp of manhood, is frustrated by the constraints of his beliefs and his father’s poor business decisions. When Sam is presented with an opportunity to make some real money, he is caught between life as a smuggler and the path back to God and his worlds begin to unravel.

Kevin Asch started his career at the New York independent studio The Shooting Gallery, where he helped produce and distribute more than thirty films, including You Can Count on Me and Croupier. After overseeing the Brand Entertainment division of Platinum Rye Entertainment, Asch launched the production company Lookbook Films, where he wrote and produced the short Characters and feature film Point&Shoot. Holy Rollers is Asch's feature directorial debut.

All ticket sales from the Soho House event will allow Woodstock Film Festival to continue its on-going efforts in presenting world-class films, music and art-related activities that promote artists, culture, inspired learning and diversity.
