Adam, a newly-trained therapist, is anxious before his first session, but a lack of confidence is just the start of his problems. On his arrival at his practice, he’s thrown by the presence of a mysterious intruder, Aisha, waiting in his consulting room. When Adam’s first patient, divorcee Lonnie, resists working with him, Aisha wants to help treat her. But Aisha’s presence stirs emotion within Adam himself, as he struggles to keep a hold on reality and a lid on his own psychological issues.
Ron Eyal’s work includes the feature drama Stranger Things, which won the Grand Jury Prizes at the Slamdance Film Festival, the Woodstock Film, Festival and the Raindance Film Festival, and was a New York Times Critic’s Pick.
