SYNOPSIS: The Chop tells the story of Yossi, a charismatic kosher butcher who finds himself in a moment of crisis upon losing his job. After ringing round numerous other kosher butchers to no avail, he takes the unusual decision to work in a halal butcher. To do so, he must use all his guile and charisma to hide his true identity.
BIO: Lewis Rose is a London-based writer, director and occasional actor. His fiction work has won awards at festivals across the world, including Palm Springs, Cleveland, Krakow, and many others. He has also made numerous music videos, content for prominent broadcasters and commercial films for high profile companies. He has recently received development funding for his first feature film.
