When an undocumented woman is forced to resort to the sex trade to support herself, her boyfriend gives her an ultimatum with unintended consequences.
Steven Liang is an award-winning gay Asian American filmmaker from the South San Gabriel Valley. His short film, Afuera was featured in Vice and Vibe magazine. His previous short, Coming Home, screened at thirty international film festivals. Liang started his entertainment career as an intern for Participant Media and Justin Lin's Universal-based Barnstorm Pictures. He holds a BA from Pitzer College, and an MFA from UCLA Film School.
