War veteran Tim Keenan returns to Vietnam after dealing well with his PTSD for over 40 years. As a remarkable storyteller, Tim hopes to find a sense of peace and forgiveness by going back to the land that once haunted him.
After graduating from college, Neal Steeno lived out of a car along the West Coast doing conservation work. Years later, Neal introduced himself to a stranger in a cafe who gave him the best advice of his life. It was "Neal, be true to yourself and never waste time." That day, Neal quit his job and soon hopped on a plane for Vietnam to go film Naneek, his first film. Neal has a knack for telling people’s stories, especially honest stories that reveal vulnerability and truth. He is currently a freelance producer, a miner for interesting stories, and a drifter out of Milwaukee. His animal spirit happens to be his beard. "
