Nothing Without Love is a based on Max coming to grips with his feelings for a girl and the opposing life challenges outside of the relationship that affect it.
Currently a producer, director and editor, Dan Karp was lured to the industry at age 16 interning for a Virginia based director. Although he became skilled at many aspects of filmmaking from directing to camera, he found his passion in post-production.
Merely a year later, he moved to Los Angeles and began working freelance alongside some of the industry’s best in post production of major music videos and commercials. Concurrently, Dan expanded his skills under Michael Cioni at Light Iron Digital, LA’s premier digital post house.
Empowered by the desire to enhance his skills using the most technically advanced equipment, Dan strived to stay a step ahead. Dan shared his expertise teaching for Red Digital Cinema.
Dan’s directorial vision moves toward exploring narrative film and the role of writer/director in creating future projects. Given that he is only twenty years old, he has solidly launched his career.
