BUTTERMILK FALLS INN & SPA presents

Location, Location, Location!

A Garden Luncheon to celebrate and to benefit the launch of the
HUDSON VALLEY FILM COMMISSION
a division of the Woodstock Film Festival

(Woodstock NY) June 22, 2006:  On August 12th, 2006, the Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa will host a special celebration benefit luncheon for the Hudson Valley Film Commission, featuring special guests, delectable food, drinks and good company.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 12th from 11:30 AM till 2:00 PM at the Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa in Milton, New York. A fabulous luncheon will be served and ticket buyers will be eligible for special door prizes, including a magnificent stay at Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa.

Main Course Caterers will provide wonderful food, Benmarl Winery delectable wine. Flowers will be designed by Stephen Bruce Design, the garden will showcase the work of sculptor Tovey Halleck, and music will be performed by Bayla Laks.

Benefit tickets are $100 per person and will allow the Hudson Valley Film Commission to continue bringing film production and economic development to the Hudson Valley Catskill region.   

ABOUT THE HUDSON VALLEY FILM COMMISSION

The Hudson Valley Film Commission (HVFC) is a non-profit organization that provides free services to promote and develop film production and job opportunities in the Hudson Valley and Catskill region. The organization, which works in conjunction with the Woodstock Film Festival, is fully prepared to act as a conduit for preproduction, production, and post production for filmmaking.

In 2005, HVFC worked with more than 34 production companies including Steven Spielberg’s WAR OF THE WORLDS, THE NIGHT LISTENER, starring Robin WIlliams, and Sundance Award winner STEPHANIE DALEY, with Tilda Swinton and Melissa Leo.

In 2006, HVFC has already worked with six feature films including RACING DAYLIGHT starring David Strathairn and Melissa Leo, and THE CAKE EATERS, directed by Mary Stuart Masterson. Work opportunities have resulted in jobs, training, and significant economic development.
