|
Join us for a fabulous evening of live music, entertainment and mingle with musicians, actors, filmmakers, artists and art lovers from NYC and the Hudson Valley!
Musician Tracy Bonham, best known for her 1996 hit Mother Mother, will be a featured performer of the evening. The festival is thrilled to have her kick off this event, accompanied by other great artists. Her new album Mast of Manhatta is available online
**JUST ADDED: John Sebastian and folk-rock musicians Simone Felice with Simi Stone!
John Sebastian's group The Lovin' Spoonful played a major role in the mid-'60s rock revolution, You know the songs by heart: Do You Believe In Magic? and Summer In The City. And John's induction into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 certainly didn't slowed him down. Whether the stage is at Carnegie Hall or a folk festival in some far-flung locale, John is still out there spreading his gospel of American roots music.
A celebrated songwriter, author and poet Simone Felice is a homegrown Hudson Valley talent who battled several life threatening maladies, which in turn, inspire his music. He is a founding member of the renowned Felice Brothers with his brothers Ian and James. He spent much of his younger days traveling the world reading his critically acclaimed poetry. His most recent musical endeavor has been his new band Duke and the King which features sensational musical talent Simi Stone. Both Simone & Simi were each original performers of the inaugural Woodstock Film festival.
Hors d'oeuvres, cocktails and a creative, fun dinner will be generously provided by celebrity caterer Mary Giuliani.
Hudson Valley Whiskeys and spirits graciously provided by Tuthilltown Spirits.
The Spirit of Woodstock Award is created and handcrafted by Steve Heller.
The event is also adjacent to the Poughkeepsie Train Station (Amtrak and Metro North service). BUS TICKETS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT.
