"Honoring the young and the old, endorsing community, advocating inspiration and lauding humanitarian gestures - all sentiments that sum up Woodstock and its 'Fiercely Independent' film festival quite well." - Hollywood Reporter
"For the 2017 edition of the self-declared 'Fiercely Independent' fest, the programming was eco-friendly, class-conscious, gender-aware and racially sensitive — a fitting environment for the handful of host towns surrounding the area." - Variety

Founded in 2000, the Woodstock Film Festival premieres exceptional films; presents concerts and panels; hosts emerging and established filmmakers from around the world and creates stimulating, innovative year-round programming.
This comprehensive programming could not happen without the support of foundation grants, sponsorship, private contributions and over 200 staff members and volunteers who contribute their time and passion to help with guest relations, public relations, transportation services, venue management and many other areas.
We work tirelessly all year round on big jobs and the bills are equally big. Our success is linked to your generous support. Here is your chance to help. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
