SYNOPSIS:
In a last-ditch effort to become a singing star, Joy Fields walks out on her marriage to chase her dream ... but nothing goes as planned.
BIO:
Gillian Barnes is a filmmaker with a penchant for offbeat subject matter. Over the course of her career, she has directed a variety of music videos, commercials, experimental documentaries and narrative short films. She is the recipient of a national Emmy award for writing and directing a series of public service announcements that aired on PBS. This year she was selected — along with Judd Apatow, Brett Ratner and Don Cheadle — to direct a film for Vanity Fair Magazine's centennial.
