Merav Elbaz was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. She moved to New York when she was 21 and graduated with a degree in film and theater from Hunter College before embarking on a successful filmmaking career. She is thrilled to have the honor of screening her second short film, Cocked and Locked at the 18th Woodstock Film Festival.
