Music video for the band Lord Huron. A man's life is burned to the ground, but he's back from the dead on a quest for vengeance. Along his path of destruction, he assembles a gang and together they blaze a path of chaos throughout a surreal, stylized 1950s world.
BIO: Ariel Vida is an LA-based director and production designer from the small town of Twin Lake, Michigan. A writer/director of the surreal and fantastical, she has also designed and art directed over seventy short films, music videos, and feature films in Los Angeles.
Most at home shooting strange desert vistas and stylized action, Ariel is drawn to telling both sprawling, Tolkien-esque tales as well as wild adventures told in the breadth of a single song. Her first feature film will be released in the fall of 2016, and her music video directorial debut - Lord Huron's The World Ender - is just beginning its festival run.
