SYNOPSIS:
Confronting boredom in a crumbling southwest Detroit neighborhood, four young kids are tempted into sacrilege and destruction by the cool apathy of the older new kid in town.
BIO:
Jess dela Merced is a writer/director with a recent MFA from the NYU Graduate Film Program, where she received the Spike Lee Fellowship, as well as the Lorraine Hansberry Arts, Performance, and Media Award. She is a current San Francisco Film Society Filmhouse screenwriting resident and has been selected as one of IFP's Emerging Storytellers.
