SYNOPSIS:
Tired of her husband's terminal illness, Sonia decides to resume giving English classes at home.
BIO:
Alan Gonzalez lives in Cuba. He has a Degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Arts in Cuba. He also studied script writing in EICTV, Cuba, and anthropological research tools applied to cinema at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He was selected as young Mezcal jury in the 29th International Film Festival of Guadalajara, Mexico. He worked as script writer on short films that won awards in countries like Cuba, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, Spain, the United States, and Uruguay. "The English Teacher" is his first short fiction film as a director.
