SYNOPSIS:
Abelardo Olguin, a third-generation cockfighter, is struggling to hold on to his family's way of life in the face of a growing movement to ban the sport across the Mexican states.
BIO:
Alfredo Alcantara is a Mexican cinematographer and documentary filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY. His camerawork is featured in the documentary "American Promise" (Sundance Film Festival, Jury Award 2013). In 2014, he co-directed "Duke and the Buffalo", an Official Selection short documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Josh Chertoff is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker. In 2012, he directed "The Unexplained", a TV series from executive producer, Doug Liman. In 2014, he co-directed "Duke and the Buffalo". Also in 2014, his short film "Wawd Ahp" won Best Anarchy Short at the Slamdance Film Festival and Best Midnight Short at SXSW.
