Babette, a naive but driven Danish woman looking for an apartment in Paris, embarks on an absurd mission fueled by her fear of getting short changed. Her original mission, which was so light-hearted, takes on a more serious twist when she decides to come back to the same apartment twice.
BIO: By Any Means A-Veilable is Charlotte Schioler's first film. She is currently seeking financing for Mousey, a feature length dramedy that takes place in New York and Paris.
Schioler, is a nomad roaming around for pasture between NYC, Paris and Copenhagen. She is a dancer, chorographer, writer, actress, director and producer. Born in Denmark, she trained at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in London and Conservatoire National Superieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris. Inspired by choreographers and performers such as Mary Wigman, Waleska Gertz and Otto Gross, she began to create her own body of work and has established her personal style in making satire and social commentary using dance, theater, cabaret and film in a burlesque and absurd way. Her plays have toured internationally and won critical acclaim in Toronto, NYC, London and Paris.
