SYNOPSIS:
The Gum is an outcast, constantly neglected and forced to adjust to circumstances. After a random meeting with another rejected soul a plastic bag dreams expand.
BIO:
Olga Makarchuk is an animation director from Kiev, Ukraine. Olga graduated from the Character Animation course at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London in 2009. She worked on several projects in the UK before returning to Ukraine. In addition to independent projects, Olga currently works as an animator in Kiev at the stop-motion animation company, Novatorfilm. The Gum (Zhuyka) is her first post-graduate film.
