Q&A Attendees *subject to change: Stacie Passon
Abby is a middle age, married lesbian housewife who, after suffering a blow to the head, awakens with a new desire for something more than her banal suburban existence. Walking the city streets, Abby remembers what it felt like to be sexy, and her pent-up libido shakes off its inhibitions. She creates a dual life as a high-end escort named Eleanor. Stacie Passon delivers a sensually hypnotic directorial debut, while Robin Weigert’s performance is a powerful sexual double take delicately balancing two very different and complicated women. Concussion delves into the thorny issues of midlife crises and what emerges is a portrait of a woman on the verge of sexual liberation. - Michael Burke
