Evelyn's quiet life is turned upside down by the relentless harassment of collection agent Scott Burgess. With nothing left to lose, Evelyn sets out to face the situation head on and stumbles across a payment plan she can afford.
Denise started her career as an Apprentice Editor and spent a few years working her way up to 1st assistant editor in feature films. With a desire to learn other aspects of the film business, she made a move to the production side of the commercial world. This led her to spend the next 15 years producing for the likes of Tony Kaye, Samuel Bayer, and Paul W.S. Anderson.
Deciding to further focus her passion for film, Plumb wrote and directed her first short film, A Mile In My Shoes which took several top awards at festivals across the county.
Denise was selected one of only eight women to attend the 2011-2012 cycle of the AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women. Her current short film, Past Due, is the result of that program.
