SYNOPSIS:
As a couple negotiate their ideal wedding guest list, it becomes clear they have differing opinions about who makes the cut.
BIO: Anthony Onah was born in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria, and raised in the Philippines, England, Nigeria, Togo and the United States. He trained as a biochemist and neuroscientist, graduating from Harvard University. He worked as a scientist in Boston and a barista in New York City while studying filmmaking.
He is currently an MFA candidate at University of California, Los Angeles' Graduate Film Program. His shorts include The Father and The Cure, which won the 2009 Hollywood Foreign Press Award. In 2009, he was named to indieWIRE's list of Ten Exciting New Voices in Black Cinema. His recently completed short, Gimme Grace, is a recipient of Panavision's New Filmmaker Grant Award and just started its festival run.
Most recently, he has been selected as a directing fellow in Film Independent's signature talent development program, Project: Involve.
