A little girl finds the whole world inside a leaf.
BIO:
Angela Steffen was born in Dannenberg, Germany in 1979. She lived in Ras Tanura, Saudi-Arabia until the Gulf War in 1990 when the family moved back to Germany. From 2001 to 2002 she studied animation at the Animation-School-Hamburg, and then at the Institute of Animation Filmakademie Baden-Wurttemberg, graduating in 2009. Whilst at the Filmakademie she developed a personal and poetic style culminating in Lebensader, her diploma film.
Her previous film "Wie Ich Mich Traf" won Germany's Next Generation Filmmaker Prize in Berlin, the PISAF Memorial Prize in Puchon, South Korea and the Heinrich-Heine Prize in Dusseldorf.
