SYNOPSIS:
A boy finds an unlikely friend who leads him on a wild adventure.
BIO:
Joseph Gerbino was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida. While in high school, he participated in a competitive Communication Arts program, focusing on film and video production. The intensive curriculum allowed him to experience all aspects of film production, including screenwriting, directing and cinematography as well as the post-production process. He was a National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards finalist and was honored in Carnegie Hall in the summer of 2008 for this accomplishment. In addition, Gerbino was a NFAA (National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts) scholarship recipient after his selection to participate in a week-long program focused on the study of cinematic arts, allowing him to participate in a series of enriching master classes, seminars and film-related workshops. Additionally, several of his films have been honored in film festivals across the country, including the Palm Beach International Film Festival and the Newport Beach Film Festival. Gerbino now attends Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, majoring in Film & Television Production.
