BIO:
Teressa Tunney was raised in Asia and after graduating Seoul International High School in Korea began her work as a Photographer and Documentary filmmaker, Directing and Producing in Seoul during the anti-American protests in the early 90's. Back in the USA, she pursued painting/ sculpture and graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Philosophy. Stepping into narrative filmmaking in Los Angeles, she Script Supervised more than 8 feature films. Teressa then moved in front of the camera appearing in such films as "The Debtors," "Dude, Where's My Car?" and TV's "ER" and "Nash Bridges." She returned to NYC for the Columbia University Graduate Film Program to focus on writing and directing. "This is a Story About Ted and Alice" is her MFA thesis film. She's currently completing a feature screenplay and hopes to kick off her first feature project soon. Teressa is the granddaughter of Heavyweight Boxing Champion Gene Tunney.
