SYNOPSIS:
The marriage of Carl and Doris, darlings of the marine biology world, has gone south. While Doris makes pathetic attempts to salvage its remains, Carl pines away for that most elusive of sea creatures. Animated with 2-dimensional stop-motion puppets and sand.
BIO:
Lisa Barcy is a maker of animated films, theatrical puppets and other sculptural oddities. Her films have been screened at The Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago, the American Cinematheque in L.A., and many festivals including Slamdance, The Chicago Underground, The New York Underground, Silver Lake, The Black Maria, and The Directors Forum in Berlin. She lives in Chicago.
