It has been difficult of late for the seventy-three-year-old Fishman from Riga to find peace. Aside from his days working alongside a small team of workers in his small Berlin fish factory, Chaim is at home imprisoned by a chronic childhood memory. The arrival of a letter from America threatens Chaim's impressively layered psychological floodgates from being overwhelmed.
