This year's commemorative program, celebrating Woodstock Film Festival's 18th year (October 11-15), is offering a limited number of ads (due September 8) on pages dedicated to host towns including Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Rosendale, Saugerties and Kingston.

Prices for these limited ads are reduced from the normal rate. Town ad pages follow a blurb and photo dedicated to your town. In addition to printed catalogues released during the festival run, the entire catalogue will be online (with links to advertiser websites) on the virtual program. Woodstock Venues

Just 90 miles from New York City, Woodstock is a center for the arts, culture and alternative lifestyles, with eclectic shopping and great restaurants. The town - known for its writers, musicians, artists, filmmakers, and other creative folk - first gained notoriety in the early 1900s when residents were greeted by the arrival of freethinking bohemians and city dwellers.

The Byrdcliffe Arts Colony, founded at the turn of the century by artisan philosophers to create a Utopian Society based on the arts and crafts, continues as an active artists' colony with a year-round presence.

The Woodstock Playhouse today is a Not-for-Profit theatre under the ownership & directorship of the Pan American Dance Foundation, Inc., which also owns and operates the New York Conservatory for the Arts of Hurley, NY.  The organization has invested their years of growth to purchase, enclose, revitalize and preserve the Woodstock Playhouse, a treasure of national theatrical history, for the current & future generations.

Upstate Films was first founded in Rhinebeck in 1972 with a second location opening in Woodstock in February 2010. Its programming is an eclectic mix that, in the course of any particular year, focuses on themes, issues and regions.

PRINT PROGRAM FORMATS:
•Artwork must be provided digitally.
•We prefer Acrobat PDF Files.
•Artwork must be saved as CMYK and B&W ads as grayscale or cmyk.
•Images must be 300DPI at the correct size
•Line art should be 1200DPI at the correct size
•OPI should be OFF
•There are no bleeds on inside pages

OTHER ACCEPTABLE FORMATS include Adobe Photoshop (.tiff) and Illustrator (.eps)
Picture resolution should be 300 DPI or higher.

Please note the the pre program newspaper inserts released prior to the festival do not contain ads. The ads sold here are for the full color commemorative program.
