HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Since its inception, the Woodstock Film Festival has sustained itself by building core support.

The annual budget is raised year round through fundraisers, sponsorship agreements, grants and individual contributions. Ticket sales, which make up 33% of the budget, round out the annual revenue.

The success of the festival has been determined through shear determination, passion, and  fiscal responsibility. In order to build on the successes of the past five years, the organization needs to raise substantial revenues to firm up the existing infrastructure that has become the Woodstock Film Festival in order to secure professional, and competitive prosperity.

To create an environment that will continue to attract top filmmakers, musicians, and industry representatives, the Woodstock Film Festival must be able to offset some of the costs that have been taken for granted including

  • venue rentals
  • skyrocketing equipment and technical fees
  • transportation and hospitality costs
  • advertising and public relations fees,
    and
  • reasonable salaries for some of the people who work all year round on many different levels to bring art-related activities that promote artists, culture, inspired learning, diversity, and sustainable economic development by attracting and supporting local film, video and media production.

The festival is also intent on working together with other local arts organizations and venues to bring a state of the art facility that can serve for theater, dance, music and film performances.
