Flymax Recording Studio You are bidding on a 2 hour recording session with Flymax, which is owned and operated by multi-platinum engineer Pete Caigan. The company is headquartered at the historic Colony Cafe in Woodstock, NY.

Flymax Recording at The Colony is the perfect setup for making a live record. Flymax was formed by Caigan in 2000 in his own home studio and has seen it’s location move from it’s humble beginnings to the sprawling residential studio “Dreamland” and now to The Colony. Flymax offers high end audio recording (live, studio and mobile), mixing, and mastering services with our dedicated and experienced staff as well as boutique equipment rentals.

Solstice Concert

Byrdcliffe's wonderful annual Winter Solstice tradition takes place each holiday season with a performance by renowned musicians. In 2012, Happy Traum was joined by John Sebastian, Larry Campbell, Teresa Williams, Amy Helm, Byron Isaacs, Paul Rishell and Annie Raines, with special guest performer Abby Newton on the cello.

BIO:
Elliott Landy, born in 1942, began photographing the anti-Vietnam war movement and the underground music culture in New York City in 1967. He photographed many of the underground rock and roll superstars, both backstage and onstage, from 1967 to 69. His images of Bob Dylan and The Band,Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison,Joan Baez, Van Morrison, Richie Havens, and many others documented the music scene during that classic rock and roll period which culminated with the 1969 Woodstock Festival, of which he was the official photographer.
